INTERMEDIATE LESSONS
Intermediate lessons are taught english or western whichever the client prefers. There is a strong emphasis on safety and horsemanship. Riders can expect to learn basic horse care and husbandry, grooming and saddling (tacking up), care for equipment, and horse safety in addition to learning how to correctly balance and effective use of independent aids. Will start learning patterns, going over poles and small fences, riding in the open, and preparing for schooling/4H shows. Intermediate lessons start out as 1 90-minute private lesson, then move quickly to 30-minute lessons. They are for students who are already comfortable walking, trotting, and cantering and who are proficient at posting, know their leads, and can confidently steer.
