We teach all ages, 2-88, and most levels of ability ranging from rank beginner to active competitor.
UNMOUNTED LESSONS
Unmounted lessons are lessons on the ground or in the office where students learn in-depth horse knowledge including anatomy, nutrition, conformation, lameness, farrier, wrapping, veterinary knowledge, stable management, tack, travel safety, ground handling, and physiology. These are geared toward the equine enthusiast who has interest in the equine field, wants to nail their 4H test, or smash their next pony club certification/Quiz Rally. Ages 9+ a cheaper less intense tiny tots/JR pony club could be formed if there is enough interest Ages 2-8. unmounted lessons are held almost weekly in the winter (October-April) and biweekly in the summer (May-September). cost is $15 per scheduled session or winter bundle (at least 27 sessions) $240* summer bundle (at least 11 sessions) $120* year bundle (at least 38 sessions) $310* *Bundles are not billed by schedule or attendance, you pay full price for the bundle and come as often as you can few make up sessions will be available depending on schedule.
WHAT WILL I NEED?
To participate in unmounted lessons, you will need close-toed shoes when we are working with the horses on the ground. A binder to keep handouts in, and a paper and pen to take notes.
